Department of Defense Instruction 6400.11 - Change 1 April 4, 2023

Integrated Primary Prevention Policy for Prevention Workforce and Leaders

Establishes a new primary prevention workforce and associated roles, responsibilities, and training for IPP personnel and leaders in addressing primary prevention of harmful behaviors in military communities. Provides assessment and evaluation requirements for IPP oversight.

DoD Policy on Integrated Primary Prevention of Self-Directed Harm and Prohibited Abuse or Harm

Establishes a DoD-wide prevention system that facilitates data-informed actions to integrate primary prevention activities, create programs and trainings that foster healthy environments and promote resiliency, and apply the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s framework for sexual violence prevention.
