All Integrated Primary Prevention (IPP) personnel levels 3-5 must be military, DoD civilian employees, or U.S. Coast Guard personnel and hold this DoD Credentialing Program for Prevention Personnel (D-CPPP) credential to perform IPP duties. IPP level 2 support personnel may be eligible to be credentialed, per the discretion of the military services. Application Packet for New Applicants (DD 3190)
As outlined in DD Form 3191, to maintain the D-CPPP, it must be renewed annually for levels 3-5 and may be renewed biennially for level 2. D-CPPP holders may begin the renewal process by completing DD Form 3191. Application Packet for Renewal Applicants (DD3191)
To renew the D-CPPP credential, renewal applicants must have completed the required number of Continuing Prevention Education (CPE) hours related to understanding and implementing integrated primary prevention, in accordance with their D-CPPP level and outlined in DoDI 6400.11.
