MILESTONE ACHIEVED FOR INTEGRATED PRIMARY PREVENTION WORKFORCE

The Defense Department recently marked a milestone in its commitment to foster healthy command climates and prevent harmful behaviors in the military community. The Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness unveiled a first-of-its-kind credential, the Department of Defense Credentialing Program for Prevention Personnel (D-CPPP), in July.

Connecticut National Guard Pilots Purple Resolve

Connecticut National Guard - Connecticut National Guard senior leaders and staff of the Integrated Primary Prevention Workforce, or IPP, have partnered with Prevent & Treat Stress & Depression Now!, also known as PTSD Now!, to pilot Purple Resolve, a resiliency program specially tailored for the National Guard community and highlights the challenges that Guard service members, retirees and their families face.

Integrated Prevention Advisory Group Gains Momentum

Army.mil - The Army will soon implement Phase II of the Integrated Prevention Advisory Group, or I-PAG, the Army’s prevention workforce. The I-PAG will assist commanders in identifying evidence-based policies, programs and practices that will increase protective factors, build positive peer environments and prevent harmful behaviors across the Army.
